Community Guidelines
Last updated: January 2024
In pursuit of creating a web-based platform facilitating global connections and conversations among strangers, Omegle has established Community Guidelines to promote a safe and respectful environment. While these guidelines offer general direction on acceptable behavior and content, they do not encompass every possible form of inappropriate or unlawful conduct. Users are expected to exercise common sense and treat others with respect while using Omegle.
These Community Guidelines govern your access to and use of the Omegle website and its associated services (referred to collectively as the "Services"). Omegle reserves the right to modify these guidelines at its discretion and without prior notice, with updates being posted on the Services. These guidelines complement the Omegle Terms of Service, which also govern your use of the Services.
Omegle retains the right to ban users (either temporarily or permanently) or take other appropriate actions, with or without notice, against any user engaging in conduct deemed inappropriate or harmful by Omegle, at its sole discretion. This applies regardless of whether such conduct is specifically outlined in these guidelines.
While using our product, if you see conduct or content on the Services that violates these guidelines or have safety concerns, please email Omegle at [contact mail] with “Omegle-Safety” in the subject line. While Omegle is not obligated to enforce these guidelines for you, your reports of violations are valuable to us.
For parental control protections, various commercial options (such as computer hardware, software, or filtering services) can help limit minors' access to potentially harmful or inappropriate materials.
Violations of the Law: Users must adhere to all local, national, and international laws while using the Services. Any content, activity, or conduct that involves, promotes, offers, or solicits illegal activities or content is strictly prohibited. Omegle reserves the right to report such violations to law enforcement authorities.

Harassment, including unwelcome sexual advances, malicious false reporting, and personal attacks, is also prohibited.
Pornography, Nudity, and Sexually Explicit Content: Pornography, nudity, and sexually explicit content are not allowed in the moderated sections of the Services. Content promoting sexual violence or exploitation is strictly prohibited and may be reported to law enforcement.
Conduct or Content Involving Teens and Children: Any conduct or content that exploits, sexualizes, or endangers minors is strictly prohibited. Omegle reports such content and conduct to the appropriate authorities, including the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children.
